Wedding Dresses can always be found cheaper on places like eBay. I’m always amazed at the gorgeous dresses you can find on there for less than $100.
All the wedding dresses I’ve found and showcased on this website are all less than $100, can you believe that? They’re all lovely, wedding fabrics such as duchess satins and laces. They look far from cheap! For plus size, see our affordable plus size wedding dresses
If you can’t find your ideal wedding gown on eBay then you could try Amazon too. It beats elbowing your way through all the bridezillas at the local bridal shop during sale times!
I find that eBay is also fabulous for those non-traditional brides who want something other than a white gown. There is lots to choose from in different colors like red wedding gowns and even black wedding dresses. Why not try something completely different looking and browse around full length evening gowns?
Look at this amazing vintage style tea-length wedding dress in ivory that I found on eBay. It’s only $80 and looks like it costs ten times that amount!! The dress is embellished with lace overlay on tulle bodice and sleeves, and the skirt is A-line shaped and made from lots of layers of tulle fabric. For a really vintage look team up with low heel pumps like the ones in the photo.
Look what else I found! It’s the same version cheaper vintage wedding dress but this one has a stunning black lace overlay instead of ivory. I want!! The thing I love about this dress so much is the fact that you’d be able to wear it over and over again. Not just on your wedding day. Now that’s what I call a real bargain.

The photo above shows a ‘cathedral’ bridal veil which is really long and trails on the floor over the wedding gown train. The edges have scalloped lace and the actual main part of the bridal veil is made from a very fine mesh. Can you believe I found this for less than $30… I’ll give you one guess where 😉
This is a photo of a mid-length, or elbow-length, bridal veil. This type of veil is suited to a more modern wedding dress or short wedding gown. This bridal veil was also really cheap at less than $20
Some of the cheaper wedding dresses are also available with matching veil. So you don’t have to shop around for a perfect match: you already have one!
Personally I think a plus size bride looks better in a figure hugging gown. I mean come on, we haven’t all got those womanly curves to show off so make the most of it girl! The photo above shows an affordable plus size wedding gown that I really love: it accentuates the bust and the top of the hips and then covers the bum completely. It goes without saying that you don’t want to be showing your bum off on your wedding day 😉 so a little bit of modesty is in order for the bride.
If you prefer something which covers up your belly then you might want to look at plus sized bridal dresses with an empire type waistline. This kind of waistline starts under the bust so it completely does not accentuate the waist at all.
